  2. In the book “No Fear Shakespeare: Hamlet”, The King Hamlet passed away and his brother Cladius inherited the throne and married the king’s widow, Queen Gertrude. Prince Hamlet, the son of the deceased king and queen Gertrude discovered a ghost in which he speaks to and declares to be his father’s spirit. Hamlet was ordered to seek revenge on the man who took his father’s throne and married his wife. Prince Hamlet decided to devote himself to avenging his father’s death.
Being that he was thoughtful by nature and had comtemplative thoughts, he delayed his mission. The queen and Cladius began to worry about the prince’s behavior and attempt to figure out why. What was figured from their discovery was that Hamlet was mad with love for the Lord Chamberlain’s daughter. Claudius decided to spy on Hamlet’s conversation with the girl. Hamlet then came upon an idea to test his uncle’s guilt once a group of traveling actors come to town. He decided to have the actors perform a scene closely resembling the sequence by which he imagines his uncle to have murdered his father. His plan was if Claud was guilt, he’d react to the performance. After watching the performance Cladius jumps leaps up and leaves the room.
Hamlet believes that this proves his guilt. Hamlet goes to kill Cladius but finds him praying. Since he believes that killing Cladius while in prayer would send Cladius’ soul to heaven, hamlet considers that it would be an unfair revenge and decides to wait. Cladius then felt threatened and frightened of Hamlet’s madness and feared for his own safety so he sent Hamlet to England.

  3. The Great Gatsby

The Great Gatsby is a story told by the narrator Nick Carroway. He was once the neighbor of Gatsby, and he is the one who tells the story during the 1920s which is when all of the takes place. In the beginning, Nick moved from the Midwest to the West Egg. In the first few chapters Nick met his cousin Daisy Buchanan who lived in the East Egg with her husband Tom Buchanan. When Nick returns home that day, he notices his neighbor, Gatsby, staring at a green light across the water.
One day, Nick is invited to accompany Tom, to meet his mistress, Myrtle Wilson. Overtime Nick began to pay more attention to his neighbor, Gatsby. He was invited to a party of Gatsby’s and attended just to learn more about the man.
As the summer goes on, Gatsby and Nick become friends and Nick learns that Gatsby is in love with Daisy. They used to be lovers. They knew each other in the past but Gatsby went off to war which made Daisy forget about him and marry Tom. Then Gatsby tried to spend as much time with Daisy as he could to try to get her to fall in love with him again.
Eventually an argument happened between Tom and Gatsby over Daisy’s love. Gatsby tries to tell Tom that Daisy never loved him. After the big brawl, everyone left and while driving home Daisy accidentally hit Myrtle and killed her. Gatsby then took the blame because he didn’t for want anything to happen to Daisy. This resulted in Myrtle’s husband murdering Gatsby. Nick had to take care of the funeral and he realized most of Gatsby’s friends weren’t really his friends they were just using him for his wealth. Not wanting to be in the town anymore because of all the events that occurred, Nick moved back to the Midwest.
