  2. My other book was Careers with internet service The Internet of Things is here and it’s growing rapidly. Internet of Things or Internet of Everything ( refers to devices or objects that are connected to the Internet, like your smartwatch, Fitbit, or even your refrigerator. These devices are able to collect and transmit data via the Internet, contributing to our big data world.

Smart, connected devices are already transforming our world and the competitive forces in business. To demonstrate how fast this sector is growing and what an impact it will have on our lives and business, I’ve rounded up 17 of the most mind-boggling IoT numbers and stats that prove that the phenomenon is here and here to stay.

  3. The Clue in the Embers By Franklin W. Dixon.

I like the book because it was a mystery and it had a good setting, Frank,Tony and Joe were also good characters.I like what they were doing to help solve clues. Tony is one of my favorite characters he is funny, intelligent, smart and kind.

The Hooded Hawk Mystery by Franklin W. Dixon

I like this mystery story best of the two books I have read. When Joe had answered the front door, there was an express man with a cage, but what was in the cage was a girl hooded hawk. I like the hawk because it had helped them hunt and find game. When Frank and Joe were out hunting they had shot a deer.

  9. The Warded Man is a very good book for a couple of reasons.
One is that fascinating concept of demons rising from the Earth every night and humanity lasting for so long. Second is the way in which it’s structured. The way how he structures the book is far by amazing and i love every page of it. He takes each character and literally go through history with them. We see each character grow and mature, becoming more....able (i think thats the word) they fall in love, the make promises and somehow manage to always get in trouble.

In the meantime, do I recommend this book? I do, although I hope Brett has some believable explanation waiting in the wings for where the corelings come from and how humanity and the corelings could ever have come to co-exist on the same world. What do corelings eat when they can’t get humans, for example? They attack animals, too, but they seem to exist in such numbers it’s hard to believe they wouldn’t have stripped the world of all life over the centuries.

It’s an unusual and well-drawn fantasy world, anyway, and this is a very solid first installment in a new series by a brand-new author who is well-worth picking up. Far more enjoyable than, oh, say, Wicked…

Oh, and Brett apparently wrote The Warded Man on his cellphone while commuting. He must have massive thumbs by now…

    2. The Dream Thief, didn’t seem to me quite as nicely as The Smoke Thief did. The Dream Thief picks up after where the first one left off, with Lia, one of the children of the first book’s protagonists, impulsively joining Zane, the human thief who’d literally loved her mother as his own when he was a boy working with her in thievery, on a quest to recover a fabled diamond said to possess the power to control her people. Lia is quite in love with Zane and against his better judgement, for her people will doubtless never accept him as a mate for one of the Alpha’s daughters–he reciprocates her feelings..
